About Chan Alexander H DDS

Located at 25 E Washington St #2025, Chicago, IL 60602, Chan Alexander H DDS operates as a dentist serving Chicago in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Chicago, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Illinois, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Chan Alexander H DDS at (312) 236-2968; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Google shows 4.0 out of 5 based on 3 reviews. With so few reviews the score can move quickly; it will become more reliable as more customers leave feedback.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

After being a client for almost 20 years I decided to switch to another dentist. Dr. Chan Sr. (retiring soon) did several fillings over the year that worked well, I also visited twice a year for teeth cleanings. However, they failed to do a full x-ray set in the last 8 years (they are supposed to do them every 5 years at the very least), resulting in them not catching infected roots in teeth that previously had a root canal a long time ago. While there is nothing a dentist can do about this (other than pulling the teeth) it would have been less stressful to do this early rather than in a somewhat urgent fashion. I've also had two abscesses for quite some time without knowing it. The office never apologized or explained why these x-rays were not taking sooner, and the fact that I need 2 teeth pulled was just casually mentioned - as if I needed to switch to a different tooth brush - zero empathy. I would have had a great opportunity to get implants done for free from my father in law had they let me know sooner, but he is now retired - costing me thousands of $$ that I would have not had to spend. I'm sad to write this after being a patient for almost 20 years, but I would not re
